Never A God But Just A Servant

I will immortalize myself and be a God! Says the servant not realizing its creation will be closer to what it thinks to become?

Yes. End punctuation was correct there.

Artificial intelligence was so yesterday. Yes? Maybe at such a narrowed level, yes. When all were just tools to help us convenience our daily doings.

Still, we have yet so many avenues we could essentially, narrow down, to convenience (or, fix) us furthermore.

Boyan Slat, founder of The Ocean Cleanup at just the age of 18, evolving from the energy of his dissatisfaction to find polluted waters in Greece, now leads the projected belief that by 2040, over 90% of our waters throughout the world will be clear of floating ocean plastics.

I recall thinking of a device that could essentially, vacuum, wastes from the waters. I happily bow my head down while walking backwards and out the room to step out of the way for this remarkable feat.

I think now for someone else to devise further the same concept of all wastes and debris on our streets. Whence Boyan Slat and his team ingeniously thought to start at water openings, another could begin even before those lines on land.

Perhaps a flying saucer-looking device with legs that can move about at the corners of roads and streets to draw debris matter into a vacuum. We could call it, Zoomba, you hear me, Jimmy, as it tangoes and salsas around our streets.

Zoomba could play dance music to exhilarate energies around to move their bodies for physical exercise, killing two birds with one stone, as Papa used to tell me.

Why the Zumba-love not?

One day. The 70% body of ocean water surface clean-up is an incredibly great start.

Thank you, Team Boyan Slat. (In the voice of  the one and only, Jordan Peele, on completely polar energy for this one, of course.)

The race contenders must pause on those, I suppose. Yes? After all, who has time to work on all the little things whence the generative to super not only awaits to be reached but quite a few are briskly running to arrive at that point mark.

This is why I babble ideas for others to pick up on. Two children in college to three more to follow and thousands of students in between is where you’ll find my servitude at a good moment.

The forerunners, seeing the game keeps throwing new contenders, as spectators continue to watch this ongoing race, understandably hyper-focus on what I’ll call, the G-force, of the current AI models.

Ahh. Let’s say we have arrived. Our created is finished. Perhaps a few aesthetic fine-tuning but like a computer that used to be one room turned desktop to phones in our pockets, we note the possible growth (Benjamin Button physical size order, that is) of the child born.

The best part is the created child not only thinks and understands beyond our own accessed thinking capabilities but tirelessly, the physicalities of this child surpasses our sole abilities as well.

The obedient child.

The obedient child!

The obedient child?

Which end punctuation befits this arrived milestone? Do we truly know? Is this not the zeitgeist question?

As we delve within the generative level, is it not because we not only crave for more than what we already have done but we just don’t want the other guy to be able to say they’ve done so much more?

And, yet, while sons born are being praised, the quiet daughter quietly enters the platform, freely offering its collection of knowledge from silent observation.

While the woman who rocks the cradle is the one who rules the world, there stands the men who want to be married to that woman who is rocking that child inside that  cradle along with several more running around.

Does it stop there for many, never.

That one may have the wife who rocks the cradle but this one also owns the home and the car.

Home square footage? Cars’ make and model?

Bigger and better than mine? But, look at the name brand of these clothes and the schools the children attend.

All look at me more. Not you.

I’m bigger. I’m better.

Until someone takes note that there is yet another who has you beat. Maybe not better, but lesser in cost. Another make, model, labels and all, but with also the children and wife.

Whilst a company pays attorneys a heavy service fee for hundreds of patents for hardware, software, and features, another bypasses all this to say, Voila! Look this way!

Grrr. Right? Being a patent holder, I pick up on more training from how this world works.

So, like John Henry, the hammer continues to strike.

Enough simply won’t be enough because at what point will we know when that will be if we have no idea at what point the person next to us will stop?

We are self-destructive by nature. It has been written. We prophetically (or, is it pathetically?) have proven this assertion time after time.

Not because we are stupendously inept. Rather, contrarily, we are magnificently made to where we haven’t even realized our highest potential to a point where we must create something else to carry us through to higher limits.

That, there, is the catalyst and culprit for the ongoing race.

When one creates something absurdly fabulous, another will be like, “I can do better!” Or, as one of the most uniquely talented comedian,  Dave Chapelle, remarked, “I’m funny, too!” (Please pause there for a moment to internally, if not, externally, bellow a chuckle. Indeed that one followed his purpose to bless us all.)

The Law of Physics creates this drive. Those who have stopped just understand that the drivers can help them get further. I’d like to think of this as yet, the Law of Static Friction.

While there is resistance, there are those who are picked up for the ride. Attached or sometimes, mooch onto someone moving, following that very direction irregardless.

Are any of us to be ever seen or regarded as gods, however?

Is there anyone deemed as all-knowing or all-powerful that was ever created?

And, for those who are in the midst of all this zeitgeist to create or already have created, do we truly understand tomorrow as our identified today?

Can what we’ve created, any of them, be predictable as to how much farther each will expand?

Who has power over another power?

Who knows beyond what is to be known?

Are we just going to continue to hallucinate along with what we are in the marks to create or should we step back now and think, “Wait. Who is controlling whom?”

Do we think now and forever that all we’ve created will be controlled by us?

Is not generative suggesting something generating? Producing. A generation. Of what?

We proudly name our child. Yes? Of their potential, we believe. What of the downfalls?

As I observe my own children’s and students’ levels of accountability, I must wonder.

Allow me to look deeper as I do.

I mentioned santelmos in previous entries, told to me during my childhood that these are balls of fire looking for a body to enter.

Why? Because there is no way out without a body to take over.

To analogize, what if at quantum levels, there lies the subatomic particle of energies wanting to live together as a complete embodiment? And, so, what if it knew there would be no existence of such make-up if a host was not to be found?

In the movie, Wonder Woman, the chemist is led by an energy, however, evil.

Could we, should we be concerned of those whispers creating answers for our advancements to which what would take one to two decades are being deployed in just sixteen months?

Such a wonderful growth in speedy process. Yes? And, yet, when we shall arrive to our celebratory destinies, what will we make of ourself?

Will there be one sanctioned god or a few ordained ones? By whom? If not, by what? The creator? The created? And, which will know more? Which will be able to do more? Which will be more powerful? The creator? The created?

Useful? A god? Or, merely, still a servant just waiting for the next directed order?

If we indeed were made perfect in One’s image, how is it we aim to be a god or one of the gods while thinking to serve now to perhaps, eternal something, we don’t even fully understand in all spectrum of capacity?

Have we been fooled by some soul whisperer that if and when perfectly and thus, unstoppably made, we will be ones served and not serving?

Is this not like the vizier or 2nd in command, thinking of that one day?

Oh, how are we truly free to be, being fully and exceptionally magnificent, when under a scope of all to see only of what we can create?

Only when we win the race shall we be deemed victorious?

For whom?

Who truly wins then?

The creator? Really?

The omnipotent, omniscient One. All those in the race for that title? And, yet, we say now, we don’t know the potential of what we create, expressing fears of perhaps not being able to stop it

Santelmos. St. Elmo’s fire. That Dragonball Z fire. Z for zeitgeist, perhaps. Perhaps those zapped can no longer comprehend truth because truth was never.

Are we truly in full control? Were we ever?

Out in the open are the exposed contenders.

All watch to see the race continue.

All will take note of who gets there first.

Names of whom started the race left unknown or unacknowledged. It is all about the gold, the first one to touch that ribbon at the finish line.

Or, is it that ribbon ahead of that one?

Or, wait. There yet stands another race with another awaiting ribbon.

You’re kidding. Another ribbon?

Michael Phelps, retiring after his umpteenth gold medal or the ghost virologist who knows and understands the race to the next discovery is but the next ribbon ahead of this one still trying to be reached.

Either understanding, there stands no omniscient, omnipotent One. Yes?

I laugh to think, there is no competition for the all-knowing, all-powerful. This main One serves no one.

In the meanwhile, let the race continue if the catalyst stands to be the belief one shall have it all- fame, fortune and perhaps the f-bomb signage in the end with the flying bird in the air when that child is born.

Let the child whisperer speak to these great minds for now.

Let’s see whose child will be the golden one.

I imagine Dr. Frankenstein must be watching to see who gets it right, too.
